I am from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in the United States of America. The population is the same as Tbilisi, about 1,8 million. It is about 350 years old. It is a very important city in the history of my country. It was the place where our ancestors declared their independence from Britain in 1776. Also, it was the first capital of the United States. In Philadelphia, there are many different ethnic neighborhoods, including an Italian neighborhood (Little Italy), a Chinese neighborhood (Chinatown), a Korean neighborhood (K-Town), and a Vietnamese neighborhood (Little Saigon). We have a hockey team (Philadelphia Flyers), an American football team (Philadelphia Eagles), a basketball team (Philadelphia Seventy-Sixers) and a football team (Philadelphia Union). People from Philadelphia are known to be very kind and welcoming to visitors, but also very proud of their city and its traditions. It is a very exciting city, with many restaurants, bars and clubs. Also, there is lots of “green space” – large parks where people can go walking, have picnics, play sports, or simply enjoy nature. So, you can see there are many things to do and see while you are in Philadelphia, so please come and visit! You will not regret your decision.
